Nominations are now open for the 2017 Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Distinguished Artist Awards, Alberta’s most prestigious artistic award. Alberta artists and those now working elsewhere, but maintaining a strong connection to Alberta, are eligible and anyone may nominate through a simple online process.
The 2017 recipients will receive their awards from the awards patron, Her Honour, the Honourable Lois E. Mitchell, CM, AOE, LLD, Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Alberta, at brunch celebration at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Saturday, September 23, 2017 with host Shelagh Rogers. Plan to attend and plan to nominate a deserving talent.
The competition closes midnight, April 15, 2017.
