Applications for the 2026 Emerging Artist Award are now closed.
The Emerging Artist Awards are held every second year. The next Emerging Artist competition will open in November 2027 for the 2028 Emerging Artist Award.
Emerging Artists are defined as those who have mastered their art form through education and/or apprenticeship and are in the early years of launching a professional career. Emerging artists have created and publicly presented a modest body of independent work and are ready for the next steps in their artistic development.
